Over 30 years ago, from her kitchen table, Mrs. Harris wanted to make extra money so she could send her only daughter to college. She used to plan Falcons v Saints bus trips, weekend trips to Disney, Washington DC, and various other short getaways. Who would have thought that one day her kitchen table dream would become a reality? After graduating from college and obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, her daughter LaCresia, took her mother’s side gig and envisioned an upscale, full-service Black-owned and operated travel agency.

 

In 1999, through hard work, dedication, and consistent professionalism, a new beginning for Personal Touch Tours Travel Agency was established. Just minutes from the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, in the city of Hapeville, the agency opened its only storefront establishment. For the last 20 years, we have been acknowledged by the Better Business Bureau (BBB), receiving recognition as “Best Travel Agency,” and “Top Female Enterprise” by the Chamber of Commerce. We have accreditation through the IATAN (International Airlines Travel Agent Network), NACTA (National Association of Career Travel Agents), and CLIA (Cruise Line International Association).

 

Nearly 25 years later, we make it our goal to cater to our clients’ needs operating as a full-service travel agency. Several of our agents have earned certifications as a Sandals & Beaches Resort Certified Specialist, Accredited Cruise Counselor, Mariott Travel Specialist, and others. It’s safe to say we are all knowledgeable of any travel destination that you may wish to travel to.
